On Thursday, January 13th at the State Capitol, Sacramento, Charles Scawthorn provided a status report on a project he is leading for the Seismic Safety Commission and the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER, at the University of California at Berkeley). The project is an inquiry into the reliability of post-earthquake firefighting water supply, and entitled Water Supply in regard to Fire Following Earthquake.
